Couples and Engagements

Spring Paris Couples Session | Portraits Around the City of Light

There are very few places that feel as effortlessly romantic as Paris.

Every street seems to lead somewhere beautiful. Morning light spills between the Haussmann buildings, cafés begin to fill, and the city slowly comes alive in a way that feels unmistakably Paris.

This session wasn’t about checking famous landmarks off a list. It was about slowing down, exploring together, and documenting a season of life in one of the world’s most beautiful cities.

Wandering Through Paris Together

One of my favorite things about photographing couples while traveling is that the experience becomes part of the story.

Rather than rushing from one location to the next, we wandered through streets, stopped whenever beautiful light caught our attention, and just embraced the moments.

Whether we were walking beneath the Eiffel Tower, strolling along the Seine, or discovering a tucked-away street lined with Parisian architecture, every location felt like a natural extension of their story.

Why Paris Is Perfect for Couples Photography

Paris has a way of making even the simplest moments feel extraordinary.

The mix of historic architecture, tree-lined streets, cafés, gardens, and riverside views creates endless opportunities for photographs that feel both iconic and personal. You don’t need an elaborate itinerary. Sometimes all you need is a beautiful neighborhood, comfortable shoes, and the willingness to explore together.

It’s one of the reasons I love photographing couples here. The city offers incredible variety while never overshadowing the connection between two people.

A Session That Felt Like an Afternoon Together

My approach is always centered on creating photographs that feel genuine rather than overly structured.

Instead of worrying about where to put your hands or how to stand, I guide you through the experience in a way that feels natural. We’ll walk, talk, laugh, and take our time, allowing each location to unfold organically.

The result is a gallery that feels like a memory of your time together.

Planning Your Own Couples Session in Paris?

Whether you’re celebrating an engagement, honeymoon, anniversary, or simply documenting your travels, Paris offers an unforgettable backdrop.

If you’re planning a trip and are looking for a couples photographer, I’m always up for traveling and would love to help create photographs that feel natural, refined, and deeply personal. Together, we’ll explore the city at an easy pace and create images that you’ll look back on long after you’ve returned home.

Maria and Ahshiyn’s session was one of those evenings that just kept getting better as the sun went down. We met at Station 18 on Sullivan’s Island, just outside of Charleston, South Carolina, and spent the evening wandering between the dunes, boardwalk, and beach, basically chasing the light until there wasn’t much left.
